I will arrive at the signing location wearing a facial mask made of cloth. I will sanitize my hands with Purell in front of you prior to beginning the notarization. We will practice social distancing (as recommended by the CDC) throughout the notarization process.

I will ask that your place your identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) on a table so that I can see it, however I will not physically touch it.

Please provide your own pen as I will not be sharing my pen with any signers. I will also have brand new pens that you can use and keep.

If you feel sick, please feel free to cancel your appointment

As a notary public who commonly deals with the public on a daily basis, I think it’s important to make sure I am taking extra precaution in doing everything I can to not spread any potential virus to my clients, signers, their families and business associates. This information is nothing new and I am sure that you are already taking special precautions.

I not only strictly follow the guidelines of the CDC but also industry specific guidelines published by the National Notary Association and rules mandated by my business service coverage area St. Louis County Department of Health and St. Louis City Department of Health.

At Clayton Mobile Notary, I will be vigilant by strictly following the advice of the credentialed experts in COVID-19. Before accepting your assignment, I will ask you a few basic questions about your health, the health of your family and/or office colleagues and if you have traveled outside of the United States in the past 14 days. I will decline assignment if I believe the signing could potentially be unsafe.

I will thoroughly wash my hands in Purell Sanitizer before I leave my car and enter your place of business or home. I will ask that you use your own pen to sign the documents. Or I will give you a new pen to use and keep after I leave. After the assignment I will thoroughly wash my hands once again in Purell Sanitizer.
